On Sunday, November 6, Pacific Union College hosted its annual Fall Festival in the gym. Various clubs at PUC served all manner of traditional dishes: pupusas sold next to Dutch Bros coffee and Thai tea, Vietnamese banh mi sandwiches and chocolate-dipped fruit appeared across from loaded waffles, and corn dogs were within earshot of sellers promoting cornbread and macaroni and cheese. The diversity amongst PUC students always culminates in these eating extravaganzas.
Amongst this backdrop of food and fun, students frolicked from booth to booth, spending “funny money” as quickly as club members could fill bowls, top off cups and fry Oreos. Attractions ranged from Mabuhay Filipino Club’s ever-popular Polynesian cultural show to a massive blow-up slide. There was even a booth dedicated to raising funds for the recently burned Redwood Academy.
The end of the night saw the intramural flag football championships for both men and women and crowds gathered, breath steaming in the clear, cold night air.
Another successful festival is over and we look forward to Spring Fest, with its REVO attachment, where our appetites will again be satiated with an assortment of delectable goodies.
